In an effort to develop rights and protections for small businesses and small business owners, the Washington State House of Representatives, and State Senate both passed, and the Governor signed, legislation relating to licensing and regulatory requirements. The legislation identifies how those rights and protections are communicated to the business owner either prior to, or at the time of, a visit to a small business by representatives of any State agency.  Here is a link to the legislation.
